As soon as you step into the cockpit of the 530 and slide open her glass door you’ll understand how Carver packs so much into its boats. The 11-foot long salon is finished in dark cherry and its big windows provide plenty of sunlight. The galley is a chef’s dream complete with a Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, three-burner electric stove, Corian® sinks, and microwave/convection oven. One of the feature highlights of this boat is the 530’s pilothouse, which has a wraparound centerline helm station with a non-glare console, custom gauges, and best of all, a six position, electronically operated helm chair for the skipper.
The Carver 53 Voyager Pilothouse with her Extra-large fuel, water and waste storage capacities allowes for extended cruising. The spacious bridge is a gathering place for your family and friends, with a large dinette/lounge, plenty of seating perfectly arranged and a wet bar. Southern Cross also features an 11 foot inflatable tender with a 30 horsepower Yamaha outboard engine. The tender sits on the upper aft deck and is lowered by an electric crane.
With dual steering stations, Southern Cross can be operated from the bridge or from the air-conditioned pilothouse.
The Raytheon electronics package includes GPS, Plotter, VHF, Depth Sounder, Radar, and Auto-Pilot. Controls are single lever micro-command.
