The Maryland 37 will surprise you by it's attractive living area, it's perfect maneuvering facilities and it's stability in mooring due to it's two hulls.
With it's 1,000 miles in range, you just cannot resist the pleasures of the call of the sea
1,000 MILES RANGE
Studies on the hull were carried out by the architects Joubert-Nivelt along with the Dutch Maritime Research Institute M.A.R.I.N. in order to design the best hull for a Powercat Trawler.
Maryland 37 can cover 1,000 miles at 9 knots. With an exceptional performance at sea, it consumes 10% less fuel at a speed of 10 knots and 40% less fuel at a speed of 15 knots than a monohull of comparable capacity. Furthermore, the reinforced keel in composite material which protects the propeller will easily carry the vessel, aground or for beaching.
NO AGENDA, a three stateroom 2001 Fountaine Pajot powercat comes with twin 140 HP Yanmar engines. Cruise speed is 15 knots at 2800 RPM with approximate fuel consumption of 10-12 gallons per hour. You won't get 1,000 miles at that speed, but you can still make it to most offshore destinations. According to the manufacturer, at 10 knots it consumes 10 % less fuel than a monohull of comparable capacity - and 40% less at 15 knots.
The well-equipped Galley, to port, is framed by a serving bar and cabinetry. Two stainless steel sinks, a gas oven, a
The lid of the good-sized Freezer is integrated into the counter. The three-burner gas stove, and a good sized refrigerator and ice box are standard. Counter space is abundant.
If there is anywhere the 37 reminds you of its size, it is in it's external space. The Flying Bridge has a double helm seat and perfect visibility. Rising from the Flying Bridge is the mast, which holds the navigation lights. It is equipped with radar. A Bimini top is included. Twin integrated swim platforms flow nicely from the aft deck and include a fold-down ladder on the starboard hull. This model is also equipped with stainless steel Dinghy Davits.
